| Dining with Alice was a dinner party with a difference – an eccentric piece of theatre that plunged its audience straight into the world of Lewis Carroll’s imagination. Inspired by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, this unforgettable evening was directed by Hilary Westlake, and featured some great performance artists, including Gary Stevens, Ralph Oswick and Trevor Stuart. The show took the form of a sumptuous Victorian dinner set against the follies and strutting peacocks of the remote and mysterious Larmer Tree Pleasure Gardens in Dorset. But order turned to chaos as the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter and of course Alice herself appeared… |
