Britishness – and loved every minute… a people’s pageant, where the pomp and ceremony of the Jubilee gave way to uninhibited jubilation. ” Daily Mirror |

| Helen Marriage produced two events for Her Majesty the Queen’s Jubilee in 2002. Launching the celebrations, two hundred South London schoolchildren created their own illuminated lanterns which they carried as they accompanied Her Majesty as she made her way down the Mall from Buckingham Palace. The following day, a live audience of over a million people enjoyed the celebratory 27-minute 50 Years Parade. Directed by long-time collaborator Hilary Westlake, it captured moments of British history, and incorporated Hell’s Angels on motorbikes, roller-blading kids and a cavalcade of nannies through the ages, as well as over 100 vintage cars, taxis and bikes. |
