Artichoke productions take art out from behind the closed doors of galleries and theatres and into the streets for all to enjoy. Our Hearts play a vital role in making our ambitious projects a reality. Support from our Hearts also enables us to work with communities across the UK through year-round Learning & Participation programmes; from education projects in schools and traineeships for young people, to creative workshops in libraries, prisons and community centres.
As a thank you for their generous support, our Hearts receive behind-the-scenes updates and invitations to parties, talks and tours. Becoming an Artichoke Heart is the best way to stay up-to-date with our work and to meet other art lovers.
"I love the feeling of when you put your heart and soul into something and then it turns out amazing. It’s the best feeling, I couldn’t even describe it. But it makes me feel proud."
“Becoming a Heart isn't difficult. It's a joy. The accessibility of public art for all is the main reason I am passionate in supporting a collection of minds that excite and inspire a city.”
