Along Came a Spider

06–07 May 2010, Liverpool

La Machine was hailed as one of the highlights of the Capital of Culture celebrations, uniting thousands of people as they watched La Princesse on her journey through the streets of Liverpool.

For this conference, Artichoke reunited some of the key people behind the show to look at how the event was made possible. Inspirational keynotes provided a background to the event, and breakout sessions looked at how the production was embedded in the city both creatively and practically. Group discussion explored the development of outdoor arts, and how the sector could be supported in order for it to continue to flourish and thrive.
